The creation story with these two starts somewhere in Brooklyn, where allegedly JK tried to talk La Fleur into helping him improve his French. La Fleur not being one to dumb it down, JK couldn’t keep up and this quickly devolved into talks about Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV, Spacemen 3 and how much La Fleur generally hates “voice-male.” It seemed best to scrap the French lessons and start jamming, which turned quickly into the Big Butt Hippy Meditation Jam band, fusing John Carpenter, Spacemen 3 and Suicide, and spoken mantras on repeat. There was a Jean Michel Jarre record on the turntable, the rest will be revealed...

"Escalator" gives me vague memories of my childhood, the innocence of everyday life. "Burn" makes me think about memories, and the fear of forgetting them. "Too late" reminds me of the different stages that I went through, of those transitions that we don't realize that things change so much, until it's too late to realize that those stages are left behind.
